Wednesday: Copenhagen boat tour and National Museum

17/04/2024

Today we started by going to Nyhavn where we had a wonderful day with all the dear students and teachers.

In Nyhavn, we went around the city of Copenhagen by boat and visited its tourist attractions. We also saw the most famous statue of Copenhagen, which

is called the Little Mermaid.

We all ate lunch together at Riz raz restaurant in Copenhagen.

We then visited the biggest and oldest museum in Copenhagen called the National Museum. Here there were many historical monuments, including statues, old war objects
and the art from a few hundred years ago, which was very interesting for us. At museum we learnt about the Danish colonies exhibition. The National Museum's new exhibition about Denmark's colonial history in the West Indies, India, West Africa and Greenland. This was not about trade, commodities and resources but about people and slavery.

And finally we returned to the hotel with a break. And we went for dinner. This is how
another day of our trip in Denmark ended😊
Are you happy?🫡😁
